Located in the Lake Glenville area just north of the Cashiers is the gated community Pinchot.  In addition to its great locale, Pinchot can be accessed not only by the main gate for Mountaintop Golf & Lake Club, but also a smaller private entrance off of Highway 107N.  Pinchot gets its namesake from conservationist Gifford Pinchot, the first Chief of the United States Forest Service.  Keeping his ideals in mind, community planners Seamon, Whiteside, and Associates ensured that the 350 acre community would personify luxurious mountain living, at harmony with the surrounding woods and hillside nature.

A self-proclaimed “mountain meadowland,” Pinchot awes even the most selective of clients upon entering the gate.  Once inside Pinchot the seclusion afforded by large lots ensures a peaceful retreat no matter the season. Lot sizes range from two to 14 acres, and bespoke mountain estates deliver countless opportunities to buy or build your future dream home.  This coupled with underground utilities, paved roads, and a community gathering areas with an outdoor fireplace overlooking the town of Cashiers, with Whiteside Mountain, Chimney Top Mountain, and Rock Mountains in the distance. Pinchot truly separates itself from many of the surrounding communities in Highlands-Cashiers.  In addition to easy access to Lake Glenville and smaller Hurricane Lake, home and property owners have the option to join Mountaintop Golf & Lake Club.
